Appleton™ AE Series Disconnect Switches
Appleton™ AE Series Disconnect Switches are used for overload and short circuit protection, and control of lighting and power circuits. Ideal for use where hazardous materials are handled or stored, the explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, watertight enclosure is designed with a precision machined flamepath between the box and cover and the external flange maximizes the internal space. The external operating handle is equipped with stops for limiting handle travel and the disconnect operators can be locked in the ON or OFF position (up to 3 padlocks). There are standard outlets at the top and bottom for line and load wiring, and the disconnects are mounted on a galvanized steel removable pan.
